Dog wardens

Animal Wardens provide dog warden services in many parts of England. We are proud of our work as the most progressive dog warden service in the UK. Since 1984 we have contracted to Local Authorities, to take on the responsibilities for stray dogs and deliver them on their behalf. We are widely regarded as a safe pair of hands to undertake this function. We have a vast experience having working with over 100 Local Authorities. Our service is a commissioned one, delivering an end2end service, from the initial call to final resolution. Though cost is important to Local Authorities, so is the quality of the service.

To quote the external quality inspector:

“the company operates a centralised operating system known as its Animal Incident Management System, receiving last year 132,000 phone calls, raising nearly 40,000 job sheets and handling just short of 18,000 animals, including nearly 1,000 dangerous dogs. The customer satisfaction levels for both this service and the wardens themselves are very high with 80% of service users rating them excellent. The quality system has been well maintained with in-depth audits and reviews, all staff found to be helpful / approachable”.
